Moving to Australia

Date July 31, 2008

Steve and Carleen met up with some of their mates from Aussie.  They quite easily convinced their mates to take me to Australia for a trip and off we went.  Sydney here I come! Don’t you love that Aussie spontaneity.  I had a last look around London and then we were off!

Next stop on my tours – Mt Blanc, Chamonix. Did I get to see Mt Blanc up close and personal? No! My mates forgot me at the bottom of the mountain. I think I may need to rethink who I travel with.

Who’s got the cheese? – Cheddar Gorge

Date June 23, 2008

With my new Aussie mates we did a tour of Cheddar and Wells. After hanging out at Steve and Carleen’s place we hit the road. Cheddar was pretty nice with a big, rocky gorge, strong Southwest accents, lots of cider and plenty of cheese. Personally I prefer a nice, soft cheese which I can flame to perfection. Wells Cathedral was pretty good too. My favourite bit was the wonky staircase.
